X-mas Raffle

We have a great Christmas raffle going on at the Toy Library. Tickets are only 1 dollar and there are three great prizes to win. A Mi Wi for TV and extra's, a Tomy Battle Deck and extra's and a Bionacle/Transformer pack + extra's. The draw is on December the 20th and we will call you if you are the winner. Hurry to the Toy Library to get your raffle tickets.

Gift wrapping at Palm Beach Plaza

This year we have two days scheduled for our gift wrapping fundraiser. Please put your name down for a 2 hour shift either 11-1 or 1-3 on Wednesday 21 December or Thursday 22 December. It is at Palm Beach Plaza so a very handy location.
Thanks a lot for helping us get more funds to by some new toys and run your Toy Library.

Looking for Librarian and Secretary

Oh No! Our brand new Secretary and our Great Librarian/Co-President are moving from Papamoa. So we are looking for new members who are interested in these tasks. It is not a lot of work and heaps of fun. Just pop into the Library or phone or e-mail us.

At our AGM in June we have had the privilege to have all our key vacant roles filled. We have a brand new Secretary Jacqui, Treasurer Tricia and this time even two Presidents Kylie and Fleur who share the role. We are very fortunate. This does not mean that you can not join the committee any more, we are always looking for new people to help us out, for example with fundraising. So just drop in and ask our librarians.

Toy Library Awareness Week and our Birthday!!

Happy Birthday to us! We turn nine on August 10, during national Toy Library Awareness week!
Our newly formed committee for 2010 have some treats in store for you to celebrate.

Highjump Photography have kindly offered to sponsor a photoshoot prize of $300 to go to a winning photo featuring our toys and your children. See futher competition details below.

Hire a toy from the library during August 9 to 14 and get a second toy free up to the same value!
We are also trialling new opening hours for August and September. Librarians Kylie or Fleur will be in on Thursdays from 9.30am to 11.30am.

Come and introduce yourself to your Toy Library Committee members on Saturday, August 14 as we will be in working bee mode!

We are very excited to announce that Mt Eliza Cheese and Morton Estate Wines are confirmed sponsors of our fundraiser.

Both of these local companies will be bringing samples from their range for us to taste and no doubt learn a lot about how they are made.

PLUS - you will be able to buy on the night. Last year Morton Estate had some great specials for our members so no doubt this year will just as good. The Mt. Eliza Cheeses will also be available to purchase so bring some extra cash to grab a bargain and support these companies that support us.

But Wait There's More.............

Our famous Balloon Raffle will also be there. For just $20 you may win a prize valued at over $50 (some are much more than that).

New website

Hi and welcome to our new website. Thank you to our newest committee member Rochelle who has been working on this for us.

We have our first fundraiser for the year coming up in April - a wine and cheese evening. Please watch for further notices and don't forget to get your tickets to this fun evening.

There are plenty of toys in the library at the moment so come on in and check them out! While you are there you can book in for a duty or check out the notice board to find out what is going on!

The committee is always keen to have new members so come along and find out what we do - we have lots of fun in a relaxed and friendly environment. Our next meeting is on Wednesday 10 March at 7.30 at the Toy Library. We would love to see you.
